Target Audience 
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of those Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and Oculoplastic Surgery, and Allied Health Professionals working directly with one of those specialists. 

Statement of Need/Program Overview 
Physicians and professional medical staff practicing aesthetic medicine need the educational tools to acquire the knowledge necessary for effective, safe and high-level patient care. The education of physicians and professional medical staff is essential to providing effective patient care in a medical aesthetic practice. There is a lack of educational conferences where physicians and their entire staff of medical professionals can attend together to learn the same information at the same time via didactic sessions.

Educational Objectives 
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Describe best practices for treatment of common complications related to aesthetic treatments. 
  • Compare established and emerging energy-based treatment protocols.
  • Review best practices for using regenerative treatments.
  • Outline indications and treatment of photodamaged skin.
  • Describe the most common aesthetic uses of microneedling technology.
  • Review functional and aesthetic indications and treatments (surgical and nonsurgical).
  • Explain the benefits of available energy-based devices in aesthetic procedures.
  • Outline approaches to common aesthetic surgeries that improve surgical results and safety.
  • Review practical guidance on the use of injectable products for rejuvenation.
  • Explain emerging uses for facial injectable products.
  • Recall proper injection techniques that minimize complications.
  • Review symptoms of Breast Implant Illness. 
  • Discuss safety of the Brazilian Butt Lift. 
  • Review advanced techniques for surgical facial interventions.
  • Explain the progressive developments decreasing complications in traditional surgery. 
  • Identify tried and true non-invasive combination protocols to treat common aesthetic concerns with minimal downtime.

Fee Information& Refund/Cancellation Policy 
There is a fee for this educational activity.

 

Cancellation Policy
For individuals as for group registrations: Cancellation must be notified in writing via email to [email protected]

  • Until 30 days before the Event: 20% processing fees on the total registration 
  • Between 30 to 15 days before the Event: 50% cancellation fees on the amount paid
  • From 15 days before the Event date or no show: No refund – except in case of “force majeure”, conditions detailed below.

For the purpose of this cancellation policy, the relevant dates shall be fixed by reference to the originally scheduled opening date of the Event and not any newly scheduled opening date of the Event that has been changed as a result of the force Majeure conditions below.

“FORCE MAJEURE”
Refunds may be granted by the organizer, after evaluation, if the participant is unable to attend the event due to a severe accident, close relative illness (children, husband/spouse, brother/sister), or family death. Refunds may be granted by the organizer if it determines that the Event shall be cancelled or postponed due to an event of force majeure, or alternatively, the Organizer may, acting in its sole discretion, decide to transfer all registrations to the next scheduled edition of the Event. In all cases, refunds will be subject to a minimum deduction equal to 20% of the booking charges by way of a processing fees
